Writing as a Service

Yep, I stole the phrase “Writing as a Service” from such tech memes as “software as a service” (SaaS), “platform as a service” (PaaS) and “infrastructure as a service” (IaaS).

I work along the same premise. You hire me to tell others:

  • the legend behind your widget, or
  • your startup’s creation myth.

Or, if you want something less highfalutin, I can also script the Lifetime movie about your service. Hell, I can even write it like Saw V, which may resonate with certain IT departments…

Regardless of the genre, I can tell a great story, one that will hook your audience and lead you to sales (or RFPs at the very least). After all, your thingamajig may be the best ’jig on the market – but it will get overlooked if you scrimp on the narrative.

Why?

Because people are hardwired for this stuff. Can you think of anyone who doesn’t like a good story? Even the most stereotypical pocket-protector nerd likes his Star Trek and Heinlein.

So consider me your personal Homer (that’s the blind poet, not the family head of The Simpson’s, although he’s an economical storyteller, especially when he describes food), and let me tell your story. Whether it’s through:

  • case studies;
  • profiles;
  • blog posts;
  • features;

Or another genre, I will make your company pop!
